Our Halloween Horror Gets National Write Up

When BowlnFun team member Ewan MacGregor approached the management with the idea of turning their famous giant softplay centre – Yorkshire’s Fun Frenzy – into a spooky Halloween attraction, they were initially in two minds about the plan.

“To begin with, it seemed difficult to imagine the children’s softplay centre as a spooky maze full of frights and traps. But when Ewan and his team of volunteers got to work, it soon became clear that this was going to be something a bit special.

The results were amazing, it was genuinely terrifying. We were getting all sorts of compliments on what they had managed to achieve. The finished product was like a sort of 3D, 3 storey haunted assault course complete with strobe lights, smoke effects, and real live zombies and ghouls. It was certainly not for the faint hearted!

The best part for us and for Ewan was that news of the attraction was picked up by a national website dedicated to reviewing Halloween attractions, and their team came down to see what all the fuss was about.

They were very impressed and gave us a really great review. We were delighted! We’re already planning something similar for the softplay centre next year and hope that Ewan will take the reins again.”
