Again it’s an obvious one but you’d be amazed at how many people get it wrong! Bowling balls come in various weights, generally between 6 and 14 lbs. They all feature 3 drilled holes for your fingers and thumb as shown below (could dan do a little image for this?) and some of the 6 lb balls have 5 finger holes to allow children to grip them better.
Bowlers generally put their thumb in the single hole, and their 2 middle fingers in other the 2 of holes. This is the easiest way to grip your ball.
In terms of weight, you need to choose a ball that you can lift comfortably. Our lane hosts will help you and your kids to find bowling balls that fit your various hand sizes and builds.
